🎿 Ford Focus Tail Lights Not Working
SOURCE: 97 Ford E250 Running lights and dash lights not working best bet is get a WIRING DIAGRAM. you should have current (12 volts) on both sides of the fuse that works the tailights.if not there is probably a broken wire or a shorted wire leading up to the fuse. you kinda need the wiring diagram so u can see in which order the current "flows" which will help point u in the right direction.

I have tried and tested the bulb it is working fine. I have also tested the bulb holder which is ok too. I have checked the fuse which is fine.
Please help with my brake light problem. I know its a common problem in the focus for the break light wires to break but I can't figure my problem out. My third brake light works normal but my two other rear ones never turn off. I have checked the wires going into my hatchback other than the third brake light wire the rest where fine.

Test1: verify the fuse for the right rear signal is good. This is 15Amp fuse F13 for the right rear, and F14 for the left rear. RESULTS: OK. Test 2: check for short to ground at the right rear light connector - pin 3 to pin 1. RESULTS: OK. Test 3: remove right rear light and temporarily connect to left rear connector.

centex. 1. If you have a trailer lights socket, the suggestion that you ensure it is clean and dry is a good one IMO. 2. Your problems relating to warning faults and cruise control operation might be related to the brake pedal position switch located at the top of the brake pedal mount.
If no power is available at the rear tail light wires then the next thing that needs to be checked is the computer inputs and outputs using a scan tool. If the computer is not seeing the signal to turn on the tail lights or is seeing the signal but will not turn on the lights then the cause of this issue would need to be diagnosed.
The most common reason why your tail lights are not working but brake lights are is due to a bad or wrong type of light bulb installed. It can also be caused by a blown fuse, bad wirings, or corroded sockets or plugs. A faulty control light switch could also be to blame. While these are not all of the possible causes, they are the most common ones.

I've checked all the bulbs and connectors. I've Checked the wiring going to the connectors through the trunk lid up to the tag lights. I'm out of ideas.
The broken filament inside the bulb is a sure reason why your tail light is not working! #3. Bulb socket problem. It is a good idea to check out your socket after you pull out the tail light, so you don’t have to do it again. While at it, after taking the bulb out, use a multimeter to check if it is getting any current.
Hazard lights do not work. Hazards do make clicking noise when button is pushed. Third brake light on trunk lid does work. Brake and turn lights worked with key in on position (engine not running). Turned engine on and turn signal fuse blew again. Replaced fuse again, turned key to on (engine not running). Brake and turn lights worked again.
The front and rear parking lights are on the same circuit, so first, check to see if the front parking lights are working. If the parking lights are not working with the headlight switch in the on position, then locate fuse number 22 in the fuse micro panel on the right front interior kick panel. This fuse will power the parking light relay
