Two opinions so far: -One independent garage told me it is about a $300.00 job and 3 hrs to change the transmission oil & filter, because there is apparently some dis-assembly required to get to the filter. -one Ford dealer told me 2011 was the first year they built a "sealed transmission" and 2 stoke transmission bearings rarely fail, gears occasionally fail, hard used or abused clutches often fail.
